About Marian Place

Marian Place is a East Texas Assisted Living facility founded by Judy Stallone, a local RN, who needed a higher standard of care for her mother.

Marian Place - East Texas Assisted Living Facility

Everything at Marian Place centers around the kind of care that comes from the heart. At our residence, caring is what makes the difference. Caring enough to provide a setting that allows aging in place. A home that knows how to care for the special needs of those with a variety of illnesses including Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Quality nursing and daily care begins with care plans at each resident’s admission and extends to periodic reassessments to help maintain maximum wellness.

  • We concentrate on providing freedom of movement within the property and residence.
  • Our Staff nurtures and encourages each resident to be as independent as possible to ensure they have the highest level of quality of life while dealing with their illness or disabilities.
  • We assist residents through one-on-one interaction for personal hygiene and other activities of daily living.
  • Daily prayer and devotionals according to the preferences and practices of each residents offers the sense of peace so vital to this time in life.
  • Our home-like residence offers comfort and respite as we soothe each resident’s transition into assisted living and through whatever illness they are experiencing.
  • Activities help reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness as we work with our residents to maintain relationships with family, friends, and their preferred church affiliation.

Our staff have a commitment to our residents and their families to assure their right to make choices and receive services in a way that will promote dignity, autonomy, quality of life and independence. We want to help you with the daily struggles of long-term care giving.

What is a “Residential or Personal Care Home?”

Residential Care Homes have been around for many years. However, they are not very well known to the general public due to the lack of public advertising outside of the elder care community.

A Residential Care Home is a house in a regular neighborhood which has been modified with safety devices to meet state regulations, which allow elderly residents to live in the house. Once approved by the Texas Health and Human Services department, having met all state regulations, the house becomes a licensed Assisted Living Facility.
